About Brand X Music

Brand X Music is a boutique music catalogue that launched in early 2002. Our Volume One: Compilation had 25 cues on it. The cues were scored to picture and we thought they were great. Editors around the world agreed. Though our humble beginning was low on quantity, it was the quality of our catalogue that made Brand X Music a success.

Brand X Music clients are film studios, television networks, video game developers, webisodic producers and advertising agencies, all in need of unique music to fit the ever-sophisticated needs of their creative clients. Trailer houses and promo houses have discovered our catalogue and the extensive usage and praise of the music has been overwhelming.

We'll stay current.

It will only get bigger ... and better.

We hope to be working with you soon.

Steve Sellers and Margaret Saadi Kramer

Steve started as a young executive as the Manager of Business Affairs at Carolco Pictures where he handled administration of the company's entire music catalog. Since 1996, he has been responsible for the exclusive worldwide film footage and music cues marketing of the StudioCanal catalog (Canal+), which contains over 7,000 films.

In 1997, after scripting and producing a video for indie records giant Epitaph Records, Margaret left her long-time role as magazine editor and music columnist to provide full-time music publishing advice to songwriters, many Grammy-nominated.

Together in 2001, Steve and Margaret launched the Brand X Music Catalogue through their company Antic Inc. Since then, the two have licensed cues for literally hundreds of motion picture advertising campaigns and video games, commercials, internet, television promotion (in all its formats), webisodes, in-stores, mobile downloads, demos and home video.

Juan Ponciano

Juan comes to Brand X Music via UCLA's Business of Music program. In his home state of Virginia, Juan was first chair of the percussion section of the world-renowned Bishop Ireton Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Garwood Whaley. Juan studied musical scores and played many instruments from a very young age, and this knowledge of the details and components of a well-written cue makes him in-house researcher extraordinaire.

Larry Malinconico

Hailing originally from Pennsylvania, Larry joins Brand X Music following his graduation for Florida State's Music Business program where he concentrated in Music Publishing and studied Tuba with Dr. Paul Ebbers. Prior to his position at Brand X, Larry worked for Film and TV composers Chris Lennertz and Tim Wynn as their 2nd assistant on various cinema and interactive projects.
